The Anti-Money Laundering and Counter-Terrorist Financing (Financial Institutions) (Amendment) Ordinance 2018 introduces a new licensing regime for Trust or Company Service Providers (TCSPs) effective 1 March 2018. All existing TCSPs are required to apply for a licence in order to continue carrying on trust or company service business in Hong Kong within the transitional period of 120 days.

The seminar will cover licensing of TCSP, licensing exemptions, fit and proper test, application for and grant of licence, ongoing obligations of licensees, consequence of any failure by TCSP licensees and disciplinary actions may be taken by the Registrar based on the law and the Guideline issued by the Companies Registry.
