Volunteer Recruitment for Cookies Class with Students with Learning Difficulties and Autism

Dear Members & Affiliates,

Hong Kong Employment Development Service Limited (“HKEDS”) has launched a charitable programme “Cookies Factory” to help students with learning difficulties and autism.

“Cookies Factory” is a pilot scheme established by HKEDS, several secondary schools and students with learning difficulties and autism. It aims to help students with learning difficulties and autism to develop a social enterprise and become self-reliant. Students were trained to bake hand-made cookies and raise fund for the scheme. To enhance the communication skills and interpersonal skills of these students, trained students were arranged to conduct cookies classes for volunteers from corporates which sponsored the scheme.

We are pleased to inform you that SCAA is one of the sponsored organizations, and we are recruiting volunteers to participate in a cookies class conducted by these students. Details of the activity are as follows.
