A person shall be admitted as a student member of the Society if s/he has complied with the following requirements:-

- has attained the age of 18 or above;

- is of good character;

- is attending or attended tertiary education, including higher diploma, associate degree, bachelor degree, post-graduate diploma or master degree, in accounting or business related discipline; or student membership with anyone of the professional accountancy bodies to be determined by Council from time to time;

- is not ordinary/full member of any professional accountancy bodies to be determined by Council from time to time; and

- pay the required fees specified by the Society.
