Gwenda Ho, AWAHK President and PwC Tax Partner, and Chi Wing Lam, PwC Transfer Pricing Senior Manager, have pleasure in sharing various Hong Kong and international tax developments impacting Hong Kong businesses, including:

  • The tax environment as part of the BEPS journey
  • Economic substance requirements in no or minimal tax jurisdictions (in brief)
  • Newly issued guidance on the transfer pricing legislation
  • Key profits tax developments in Hong Kong, including new guidance introduction and revision on the enhanced research and development tax deduction, deduction for foreign taxes, digital economy (new), and guidelines for charitable organisations
