Alan has over 30 years of IT audit experience in providing a broad range of professional services including IT governance, business process controls, IT application and general controls, cyber security and data protection, vulnerability assessment & penetration testing, e-banking/e-payment, endpoint security, operations and technology outsourcing, regulatory and industry standard compliance (ISO27001, GDPR, ISF, PCI-DSS, etc.), digital / technology transformation, process integration, demand and change management, e-banking controls, business continuity and resilience management, data management and analytics, investigations, etc.

Prior to joining Grant Thornton, Alan headed the Global IT audit function of the largest HK-based conglomerate with worldwide presence.  Business portfolios included telecommunications, retails, manufacturing, ports, property, hotels, infrastructures across regions of Asia-Pacific, Europe, Africa and South America.
