The Financial Reporting Council e-news in March 2021

The Financial Reporting Council has published the latest issue of e-news (March 2021).  It highlights how the FRC fulfils its regulatory objectives across the full range of functions and the progress made so far.

FRC aims to protect the public interest in the quality of financial reporting and auditing of listed entities in Hong Kong. This includes both the interests of the investing public in the effective operation of Hong Kong’s capital markets and the wider public interest in the success of Hong Kong’s listed entities and accounting profession, the economic wellbeing of Hong Kong and the maintenance of Hong Kong’s status as a leading international financial centre.
