Generating audited financial statements using the conventional Word and Excel spreadsheet can be flexible but error-prone. This webinar is designed to showcase a simple process optimisation using Excel VBA macro and Xero report template to automate the creation of audit planning schedule (Section A to C), audit Lead Schedule & SME FRS audited financial statements.
On the book keeping side, Optical Character Recognition (OCR) & Scanner technology is an old but effective way for data capture. Accounts no longer need to manually capture data from the shoe box of bank statements and receipts we receive from our annual clients. Mr. Andrew Yung Senior Account Manager, Xero Asia, FCPA (HKICPA) Andrew is a Senior Account Manager at Xero Hong Kong. In his role, he pushes forward digital transformation and is an advisor of choice to businesses in Asia using the latest cloud technology and apps.
Andrew’s accounting career began in 2008 as an auditor and joined HSBC in 2010. He delivered several process optimization projects in the area of Equity Trading Operation and Fund Administration. Prior to Xero, Andrew led the Hong Kong Business Development team for CPA Australia.
Andrew is a proactive Fellow member of HKICPA, a member of CPA Australia, and sits in the Young Achiever and Public Practice committees. He also has a passion for helping startups and is an advisor for the Pan-Asia Venture Development Platform (PAVD), where he assists innovative ventures in fundraising. |
